Sweet Stampin'

How sweet!

A few days ago I received a lovely image from Broken Box Stock and I immediately had to make something out of it.

And I made this notepad:

This lovely digi stamp is called Sugar Cookie Toodle and I colored it with Copics (but there is also a colored version available if you have little time).
My original idea was to make something absolutely pinky and girly but when I saw this paper from Papermania I decided it was the right one! I love the clean, crisp, fresh look the light blue stripes give to the notepad!
I only added touches of glitter here and there, a rhinestone near the sentiment, a pink ribbon and, of course, two little pearls as earrings!
I love these toodles for they have little details like the earrings that make them absolutely girly girl!

Luckily enough, while browsing through my list of challenges, I noticed that it could be entered in a few of them.:

A Lovely Sketch Challenge Part 2

I did it!
I've just finished the boy version of the card I told you about a few hours ago (have a look here or scroll down to see my post).

I've used a bright green card and papers from DCWV and, of course, the lion stamp from the Jungle Out There set of stamps by There She Goes.
(No, this time the upper part has not been placed to cover a mistake but because I eventually like it very much!).
Although my daughter and I chose this set mainly for the monkey, I must admit that all the animals are very cute! I bet I (we) will use it over and over again!

I enter this card in There She Goes Challenge # 178: sketch

and I head towards the kitchen to prepare dinner!

A Lovely Sketch Challenge

Here I am with a new card for one of my favorite challenges!

Although I had this card in mind for a couple of days, I only managed to make it yesterday at 6:00 am... I was not completely awaken but I had to get up and start cutting!

In fact, a few days ago I received a new stamp set from There She Goes called Jungle Out There. I chose it with my daughter after I won a challenge last month. It's gorgeous! Animals are perfectly sized, not too small and not too big and they are so sweet and funny!

I had already seen the current challenge at There She Goes, which is a sketch challenge:

I love this clean feminine sketch and I immediately decided how to make it.

This is my card:

I've used a light blue card from DCWV, inked the edges with a light blue ink and added this banner made with pink and white glittered cardstock from DCWV.
Since it was 6:00 am, I cut the stripes a bit too short so I had to add something on the top to disguise the place where they are glued...
I added a black dotted ribbon over another stripe of pink glittered paper, three pink pearls, a sentiment and, of course, this lovely zebra!

I've also planned a boy version of the same sketch but... well... I don't think I manage to finish it in time for this challenge!

This card will be entered in the following Challenges:

Pinkoctober at Jellypark!

The other day, while browsing my favourite blogs, I discovered Jellypark Challenges. I already knew their digi stamps and I decided I had to enter a card.

The theme is PINK and I bought a digi stamp both my daughter and I liked. The proceedings of the sale of this digi help to raise money for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer and I loved the idea to help such a great cause.

I made this card:
I've used the Breakthrough Breast Cancer song in your heart digi stamp colored with Copics and glitter. it comes with this lovely sentiment so it was easy to finish the card using a patterned paper from the Neighbourwood Collection, a satin ribbon and some pearls.

Pink Christmas

I love to use PINK for Christmas!
And when I read Jingle Belles Challenge theme for this week, I couldn't help doing another pink card.
Luckily enough, I'm quite free from commissions so I've had the time to make this:

I've used Minnie Christmas Lights, a lovely funny stamp from Tiddly Inks.
When I start making my Christmas tree and unwrap my decorations, I often found lights tangled and I have absolutely no patience to untangle them! I feel I'm a bit like this Minnie...

The challenge at Jingle Belles is a serious one this time: Pink Christmas for the Cure! The girls will be donating $2 for each card: read this post for all the info!

This card is for the following challenges:

Broken Box Stock Challenge: Halloween!

It's time for a new Challenge at Broken Box Stock: Make a Halloween Card!

I've made two cards this time.

The first one uses Spooky Halloween Toodle:

I colored her with Copics and glitter and mounted her on black paper. She is glued with foam paads on a dotted paper I found a while ago at My Grafico. The moon is made with a circle punch and it is embellished with gems and a glittered bat.
I love her!

The second card is this one:

I've used Haunted Halloween House, colored with Copics and mounted in on a silver cardstock glued over a dark grey card.

Both images exist in a black and white and in a colored version, just in case you need somemthing quicker to create with.

And now for the rules:

Cards for Boys - Part 2

Here I am with my second Card for a Boy:

This time I've used a very sweet image from Meljen's Designs, colored with Copics and mounted on DCWV paper and card. The flower border is a gift from a magazine and I added two buttons and two little pearls.
Isn't he lovely?

I'll enter this card in:

Cards for Boys - Part 1

I'm still pretty busy with commissions and I've just finished a couple of cards for a sweet lady who wanted cards for boy.
It's quite strange but cards for boy are rarely in my cards-to-do list, I always think about girly card, even when I make Christmas or Halloween cards.

This is one of the tow boy cards:
This image is Pilot Ted from Di's Digi Downloads and I think it's perfect for a sweet little boy!
I've treated myself with several Di's Digis in this period because I've had several commissions for Christening cards and her images are lovely!
I've used a very very old paper: I bought it so many years ago... I think it's from an Italian company but I'm not sure.
I slightly modified the digi stamp and put flags in the bear's hands instead of the bunch of flowers it came with.

I had some time this morning to check if there was a challenge to enter my card and luckily enough I can enter two:

Di's Digi Designs Challenge: Animals acting like People

and

See you later for my second boy card!
