C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 270 - Wish You Were Here.

Happy Thursday!

This week at C.R.A.F.T. Challenges we ask you to make a card of project for someone far away.

The theme is "Wish You Were Here" and this is my card:

The digi stamp is One of a Kind from Sweet'n Sassy Stamps. I wanted to focus on the image so I printed a big image and kept embellishments to a minimum.
I had just discovered this adhesive lacy border in a shop and I was willing to use it. I think it's perfect for this card!
Then, just a few pearls and rhinestones and my card was ready!

We have great sponsors this week! Check them all here on our challenge page!
You'll also find some great cards to be inspired by!

Christmas Card Challenges # 35 - Anything Goes!

Anything goes at Christmas Card Challenges!
What a wonderful way to start with your Christmas cardmaking!

This is my card:

I've used Snowbirds digi stamp from Broken Box Stock (it's still a freebie in the shop here!). I colored it with Copics and mounted it on a patterned card from DCWV.

Check out the Challenge page here to see the lovely and inspiring creations from the DT or have a look at their personal blogs:

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 269 - Inspiration Picture.

Welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

Again, I've something holiday related to show you today. In fact, the theme of our challenge is given by this:

Be inspired by this camping scene!
I've never camped in my life but I bet that, so close to nature, there's time for a little mom-daughter time sitting on the grass:

This digi stamp is from Sami Stamps and is called Sunshine Love.I colored it with Copics and used a paper from Echo Park (Country Drive).

I'm really looking forward some time to hold my daughter sitting somewhere among the flowers!

Have a look here at our challenge blog to discover the fabulous sponsors for this week (Sami Stamps is one of them) and be inspired by our creations!

Are We There yet?

Good morning!

At this time of the year we all think about holidays (well, I actually think about them quite often throughout the year...) and, for my latest card made with Eat Cake Graphics stamps, holidays were the inspiration.

And children too... when they ask: "Are We There Yet?"

This little car with a mouse driving and a dog looking out of the window is one of my favourite stamps from Eat Cake Graphics: they are Lewis and Trudy's Wild Ride (the name itself makes me smile!).
For the background, I used some trees of the Lake Shoreline stamp.
They are both colored with Copics and mounted with 3D dots on an old card blank.
They are sooo cute!

You can find both stamps in Eat Cake Graphics shop:

Christmas Card Challenges # 34 - Inspiration Photo.

I couldn't wait to show you the theme of this week's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges!
It's so yummy and it inspired me to work with very very sweet images!

This is the photo to inspire you:

Cookies? Colors? Stars?
I decided to follow the Cookies theme and made this:

I chose two digi stamps from Drawn with Character: One Smart Cookie Boy and One Smart Cookie Girl. I resized them to make the kids and now I have a sweet family!

As usual, I suggest to check here on the challenge blog to see the fab creations of my DT or to have a look at their own blogs:

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 268 - Christmas.

It's that Thursday of the month... the Christmas challenge at C.R.A.F.T. Challenges!

The image I chose for this week made me laugh:

She is Stella - Santa Died from Bugaboo Stamps and I had a great fun while coloring her. I'm always more kids-oriented when I choose my images but this time I happily switched to this lady and her funny Christmas tree.

Bugaboo Stamps is one of the sponsors of our challenge, but we have lots of sponsors, check here to see them all!

Herbert & Daisy Mouse... again!

My most affectionate readers probably already know how much I love Herbert and Daisy mouse stamps from Eat Cake Graphics.

This week I've done something a bit different from my usual cards, a couple of toilet signs:

I still have many wood plaques from my painting days and I wanted to make something mixing paint, paper and stamps.

Plaques are painted with pastel colors from DecoArt, dotted with white paint and then decorated with pearls and the two cute mice stamps colored with Copics.

I love them!

Christmas Card Challenges # 33 - Color Challenge

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!
Today it's dark and rainy, the perfect weather to think about Christmas!

This week we have a fabulous color challenge for you:

These colors are so elegant and festive!

This is my card:

I used December 26, an adorable digi stamp from The Paper Shelter. I love to imagine Santa after Christmas: what does he do? Sleeping of course!

I used my Copics and papers from the Festive Treats paper pad (First Edition).

We have great cards to show you this week, have a look here on the challenge blog or at our DT members' own blogs:

Happy Summer!

Although it's been a cold and rainy week, more like autumn than full summer, I managed to create a card inspired by our past vacations at the lake.

I took this picture in one of the few moments of sun and, even if I know it's not a proper one, I love the way the sun rays hit it.

I've used a couple of stamps from Eat Cake GraphicsPaddling in the Canoe and Lake Shoreline.
I mounted them on a light blue card from DCWV, made some white dots with acrylic paint and cut some stripes of cardstock to resemble water.
It's not one of my typical cards but I love how it turned out!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 267 - Inspired by a Book.

This week the theme at our C.R.A.F.T Challenge is quite interesting: make a card or craft inspired by a book.

I myself had to think a while before having a good idea and, while looking at available images, I decided to be inspired by a series of books on cats adventures by Doreen Tovey.

This is my card:

I chose this funny cat from QKR: it is called "Hanging" and is available both as digi stamp and in rubber.
I mounted it on a paper by DCWV and punched some star from yellow stickers.

I think it's too cute!

QKR Stampede is one of our sponsors this week!

Christmas Card Challenges # 32 - Thinking Tags.

Sooo sorry! I forgot about my weekly Christmas Card Challenge post yesterday!

A bit late but... we have a super fun theme this week, one of my fav: TAGS!
I love to make tags and I enjoyed making these ones:

I used the super cute Winter Owl stamp from Lawn Fawn mounted on tags decorated with papers from DCWV.

The challenge is already live and you may have already checked the beautiful tags our team has made this week.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 266 - Anniversary/Wedding

Good morning and welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!
This time it's all about weddings and anniversaries: for me it means elegant cards with soft colors and lots of white.

This is my card:

This lovely bride is Lizabeth Wedding Bliss from Lacy Sunshine: I colored her with light blues and pinks and some yellow for her hair.
I put her on a circle sentiment from The Cutting Café called Something New Old Borrowed Blue.

Both The Cutting Café and Lacy Sunshine are sponsors this week so don't miss the opportunity to win some of their images!

You can find all details here on the challenge blog and you can also be inspired by the wonderful creations from the DT!

A Summer Cutie.

Good afternoon!

A very quick post to show you my latest creation:

Isn't it cute?
It's Dolphin Cutie digi stamp from 2CuteInk shop on Etsy.
I printed it a couple of days ago in the hope to have some time to make a card for the current challenge at 2CuteInk Challenge blog and today I've had.

It's colored with Copics and mounted on papers by My Mind's Eye (My Girl pad).
Glitter, sequins and rhinestones give some sparkle to the card.

My daughter loves dolphins and this is really really cute! She's not here at the moment and I can't wait to show her my card!
